The research cell was established on 05.09.2015 to promote and address research activities at Govt. College  Barhi, District Katni. The objective of the cell is to monitor and administer research cell programs for faculty and students and encourage them to have national approach in their academic activities. The cell also focus on research activities by providing E-Library, well equipped computer lab etc. The cell has organized several national seminars.

Objectives of Research cell-

• To create and promote a culture of in research include members to publish research papers and have participate and present papers in national and international journals and published learning material and book chapters.
• Research cell has taken the initiative to launch a near journal named The International Reviewed Journal ‘’Vision Pioneering’’.
